Drawing apart together

Since 2008 Claudie de Cleen and I have been producing 'DAT drawings', where 'DAT' stands for 'drawing apart together'.

Half-finished or incomplete drawings are sent from one to the other, following which the recipient continues with the drawing.
Sometimes the drawing is finished at this stage, other times it is sent back and forth several times before it can be marked either as 'finished' or as a 'failed attempt'. The drawings shown here are a selection of the drawings which we have produced togheter over the past two years.
